ISEP研究発表会を開催しました
ISEP Research Presentations Held

このたび、ISEP(International Student Education Program)に所属する留学生によるIndividual Study研究発表会を開催しました。発表では、英語教育、美術教育、教育格差といった教育に関するテーマのほか、歌舞伎の衣装、コンピューターゲームにおける暴力、AI翻訳、日本の交番など、多岐にわたる分野が取り上げられ、参加者との間で活発な議論が交わされました。学生たちは、１年間または半年間をかけて文献調査、フィールドワーク、インタビュー、アンケートなどの多様な手法を用い、それぞれの専門性を活かした研究課題に取り組みました。本発表会では、留学生たちの熱意と研究成果が余すところなく披露されました。発表会の最後には、原田和雄センター長より、今回の研究で得た気づきや新たな疑問を今後の探求につなげてほしいとの激励の言葉が贈られました。

We held the Individual Study Research Presentation by international students enrolled in the International Student Education Program (ISEP). The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including issues in education such as English language teaching, art education, and educational disparities, as well as subjects like kabuki costumes, violence in computer games, AI translation, and Japan’s police box system. Each topic sparked active discussions among participants. The students spent six months to a year conducting research using a variety of methods, including literature reviews, fieldwork, interviews, and surveys. They tackled their chosen topics by drawing on their unique academic backgrounds and perspectives. At the presentation, their dedication and research findings were fully showcased. To conclude the event, Professor Harada Kazuo, the Director of the Center, offered words of encouragement, urging the students to build on the insights and questions that emerged from their research as they continue their academic journeys.
