Currently, it is planned and operated under the students’ organization for international exchange, INTER. At the International Student Café, INTER student staff invite international students as guest speakers to talk about their own cultures, followed by free talk for the rest of the lunch break. If you are interested in international exchange, please feel free to bring your lunch and join us. Information about the date and location will be posted on the International Exchange/Student Center bulletin board and the Gakugei Portal.

Japanese Talk Room

The Japanese Talk Room is planned by the students’ organization for international exchange, INETER, for international students to learn Japanese language and also to promote mutual exchange with Japanese students. The Center provides advice to international exchange organizations (INTER) for organizing various events for both Japanese and international students. International Exchange Camp

Every year in May during the spring semester, the GISEC organizes an international exchange camp. This camp was started in 2010 to promote cultural interaction between international and Japanese students by staying an overnight. The camp has been held at various locations such as Lake Yamanaka, Kiyosato Highlands, Lake Kawaguchi, Kusatsu Onsen, Tateyama in Chiba, and Mount Akagi. The camp offers various activities in nature, cultural exchange meetings at the hostel, and group presentations, making it an exciting and memorable event each year. The camp is primarily organized by student staff.
